Yarn/Wire is currently the only active new music ensemble in the United States dedicated to expanding the body of works written for two pianists and two percussionists.

Drömseminarium (Dream Seminar) is a new music-theater piece based on the texts of
contemporary Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer, produced by Companion Star, and developed collaboratively by an international company of musicians and artists.

December 2008 marked the centenary of the birth of Olivier Messiaen, undoubtedly one of the great musical figures of the 20th century. To celebrate, Dublin-born pianist Isabelle O'Connell and American pianist Laura Barger first brought his two-piano masterpiece Visions de l'Amen to life in a New York concert.

Founded in 1995 by conductor Silas Huff, Lost Dog New Music Ensemble has performed in
New York, California, Texas, Spain, and Germany. In 2003 Lost Dog became the resident new music ensemble of the Astoria Music Society (AMS).
